11:16 and we were on the road again - this was the day to which I had really been looking forward. 93 miles - 50% of which was wall-to-wall hairpins and the majority of the rest some good bends. The previous year Susie and I had had atrocious weather for this section. Today we had bright sunshine. We would be ascending to 5,200 ft from the lowest point at 1,000 ft (Potes) and then down again to 180 ft at Cangas.
