Day 5 - At Parador de Fuente Dé, Picos de Europa
As I said at the start, certain conditions had to be met for matrimonial harmony to be assured. One of these was that we had to stop for one day with no travelling. Well here we were at Fuente Dé at the foot of a cable car lift. The lift ascends over 800 metres. Susie was petrified (as were a few others). I too can think of better modes of transport than being suspended 2000ft in the air by a single wire. But it had to be done.

It looked at bit misty at the top but if we didn't do it today there wouldn't be another opportunity. |
