These images were grabbed using Garmin's xImage.  If you are viewing these at 1024x768 on a 15" monitor then I suspect they are just about the same size as the actual display.

They show the set-up I favour for motorcycle use and examples of the visual prompts you receive from the device,

The main menu page and satellite reception page.
Map setup menu and my menu selections.
Showing the field layout I prefer on the map page
Example of the visual prompt for a left turn.
and a right turn at a slightly more complex junction
Roundabout prompt.  On a large roundabout just before the desired exit you also get a final audio prompt.
It does make mistakes too.  Here it is giving advice to exit on a slip road and take the roundabout when you obviously need to continue on the main highway!
With the Safety Camera overlay (downloadable from here and here) you have visual warning of accident black-spots.
Lots of "black-spots" here
The compass page, although of little navigational use in automotive mode does provide a good means of displaying a few more useful fields.
As does the highway view
The route view gives advance warning of changes of direction but is a little detailed to be safely read on a motorcycle.
The last page defined as the "trip computer" page does have some useful alternative layouts.  This one I think is the best as it so large it can easily be read at night in the rain with a fogged visor!!!
Garmin produced this alternative in a recent firmware update.  Pretty, but not one I use much.
When you want to review your trip this view gives you the information you need.
